ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS

Byron Bay is a world renown tourist destination famous for its surfing beaches and coastline, nearby natural wonders, live music and entertainment as well as being a mecca for foodies.

For free activities why not hit the beaches (there are plenty of them), walk to Australia’s most easterly point – the lighthouse and catch the sunrise or sunset, visit the local market (Byron’s markets are within 200 metres from Butlers at Byron) or visit the nearby waterfalls.

For organised activities you could take a surf lesson or just hire a board. Byron Bay is a very popular dive location with Julian Rocks Marine Reserve just off the coast. You can kayak with dolphins or take a whale watching tour during the whale migration season. It is also an incredible skydive location where adventurers can skydive over the most easterly point and take in the view of the beautiful coastline.

For foodies you could visit The Farm located nearby, but there are numerous options.

Byron Bay has its own brewery, Stone & Wood which you can visit, take a tour or have a sample.

Byron Bay hosts world renown music festivals such as Bluesfest, Falls Festival and Splendour in the Grass and there is a vibrant local music scene and busking at several venues every night of the week.

We are happy to make any bookings for you prior to your arrival or during your stay so that you can enjoy all that Byron Bay has to offer whilst staying at Butlers at Byron.
